When the USPS told me I had a delivery, that was not here, I called American Meadows. I was lucky to get Kori, who was kind and helpful in figuring out where my order was. Excellent customer service., which makes sense, as their plant products are also first rate. My order was with their sister company, High Country Gardens, and the order that said it was delivered at 8:58 today actually arrived yesterday. Detective Kori figured it out. Thank you!! When I received my plans a little over a month ago I put them in pots and put chicken wire around the pots so they can grow without having been disturbed by the gray squirrels in my area.I put them in pots to keep the moles from getting into them too. I called American Meadows this morning to thank them for the plants I received and how they were shipped. They came and good condition and as I planned of them right away they are now growing beautifully. And I think you for that very much. This is the starship lobelia that I have received. I put them in different pots as far as color goes to see how well they do when it gets warm this summer. The last photo is of a bonsai that grew from our weeping birch tree 25 years ago I planted it and nurtured it it's only two and a half feet tall.
I'm in the process of turning my yard into a pollinator habitat by adding more plants and flowers each year. Last year I purchased my flower seeds from this company and the quality of them was amazing! I got more flowers than ever before. I've already placed my order for this year and plan to do so from here on out. 🙂
Ordered 4 pack of plants. 2 were great, but 2 were not. Customer service was quick to respond and offered to replace the 2 plants or provide refund. It was a satisfactory outcome. UPDATE: Customer Service was very helpful … since they were out of stock for my plants I ordered others of a comparable value. These arrived quickly, at no cost, and were all good quality.
American Meadows has great instructions for growing wildflowers and native plants. The seed I got from them was excellent. They were also very helpful and timely when I emailed them for advice on maintaining my mini meadow. I highly recommend them.
