This place is so stinkin' cute. It's peaceful to wander around. Minimal/tight parking. Plants are poorly organized, labeled and there's barely any prices, but it was at least peaceful while looking everything up for information.
I had seen photos of this place before I had been and knew they had native plants, but somehow I wasn't prepared for the scope or for how over the top this nursery is. You probably won't be going here to zip in and grab your $3 zinnia (although they do have curbside pickup right now). Instead, this place is more conducive to wandering and taking in all the design gems as you slowly find all the plants you want to take home with you -- some of which you might not have known existed before. You might also meet some interesting people as you explore all the secret nooks and crannies. This place requires a different attitude and speed, but it is very rewarding and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. She even provides design consults.
Bosky Dell is a native plant nursery filled with wildlife and whimsy… My husband and I visited for the first time this week and we felt like children on a treasure hunt, it was a wonderful experience! Everywhere you look there is something to see wildflowers, garden art, mossy retreats, birds, chipmunks… When you visit be sure to bring your camera! The owner, Lory Duralia, is an artist with a cheerful enthusiasm that she shared with us and we left vowing to return. ~ We would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone interested in native plants, wildlife, stream side restoration or creative gardening…
Absolutely enchanting nursery! Seriously a wonderland to explore, I felt like they should sell tickets at the door! The owner and staff are so kind and helpful. Incredible selection and excellent prices. Love that they grow a lot of their own plants. My only suggestion is to update your website and social media to better reflect the immense beauty and wisdom your space holds! Seriously I would buy a "coffee table" book the owner could write with her passion and creativity with plants and architectural salvaged wonders! Thank you for all you do!
A magical place to explore and see native plants in their habitat. Many amazing handcrafted garden artifacts are available, and many varieties of plants, from sedum to trees are grown and sold here. There are buildings built with re-purposed materials that are so beautiful, and the inspiration of the items used to decorate is wonderful.
