When you go to Cactus Joe’s prepare to bring a heavy duty pick-up for all your haul. 1st pic is not my truck but I found it parked by one of the greenhouses. 🤣🙌 Awesome place, I was just driving by on my way back to Texas so I didn’t have much room. I ended up finding a couple of baby Joshua Trees which is why I stopped by. Was so stoked to find them at a good price. I had been by here a few years back while on a vacation to Vegas and flew home with a baby ocotillo that is now thriving back home in Texas. Good spot for small plants or large established landscaping specimens. They also have a large selection of metal landscape ornaments and rocks. 🙏
Wow, have you ever seen this place??? It's way down near Fort Apache & Blue Diamond (on the way to Pahrump) It is so cool! Although it was really stupid hot lol a friend took me there today on an adventure and I can't wait to go back. I don't deal well with this heat but this would be such a great place to go when it's cooler. If you do need to go this time of year I would recommend first thing in the morning The staff is super friendly and the items are also super cute, they have curated a whole tent full of native cacti and other plants, and all the adorable sculptures make you want to just scoop them up for your front yard. I wanted to give a special shout out to Cheryl, Kym and Cactus Joe himself whom I met right before I left. Personally I also think this would be a great place for Photos, or for school field trips. You can fill a fist full sized burlap bag full of gems for like eight dollars! And because it was so hot they even gave us water. This place is definitely a thumbs up and a must see for those who love to find cool places off the beaten path. @cactusjoes @scottshots , #cactusjoesbluediamondnursery #LasVegas #SouthwestVegas #CactusJoesNursery #OldVegas #YardDecor #VegasNursery #OffTheBeatenPath #ScottShots #CactusJoes
Cactus Joe’s is as much of an attraction as it is a garden center. The entire property is like an art exhibit. And if you’re lucky, Cactus Joe himself (one of the nicest men I’ve ever met) might give you a personal tour.
This is one of the most interesting nurseries around Las Vegas it has lots of native plants tons of succulents things that are not going to die in your yard. Then they have an incredible assortment of yard art concrete tables and chairs pots that are priced fantastic it is just such a fun place to go and look at the creativity to give you ideas for your yard.
If you think a plant nursery is just rows of sad ferns and a guy in overalls selling you overpriced soil, Cactus Joe’s Blue Diamond Nursery is here to completely rewrite that script. This place is less “garden center” and more “psychedelic desert wonderland.” Seriously, it’s like Dr. Seuss designed a cactus park while high on sage tea. I loved visiting here I bought some crystals! 100% come here
