Dyck Arboretum of the Plains

This is a must see. It is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

Fun place to be because the staff is so helpful. They have many beautiful plants to purchase. Taking a walk through the grounds is a plus. You have to join them!!

Take a stroll. Read a book. Watch the wildlife. Talk to the very knowledgeable staff about the plants or animals. There are amazing things happening here and I loved every minute I am here. If it is hot, don't worry there is lots of shade. If you need to know what plant you find and love someone will tell you. Then go back for the plan sale and take it home for your yard. Please visit and enjoy nature.

I have a family membership since I live close by. It's a great park for the small town and pretty kansas plants and flowers and trees. The pond during the summer and warmer months is filled with a variety of cute turtles of several sizes and species and fish.

Very informative, came as a pro weed killer. Left as a budding naturalist. Worth the time to walk around the grounds. Ask questions and enjoy the time you spend there.
