At first glance I was excited to see a professional nursery in the area. I drove 30 minutes to this Greenbrier Nurseries to see for my self and I will note that they do have a good variety but nothing is labeled or priced out upfront and there was limited staff to assist me in finding anything that I was looking for. Another woman there mentioned the same observation to me while shopping in their muddy fields. The few plants that were labeled are very expensive.
We had been looking for a tree to plant in our front yard and we found the perfect tree. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. We have purchased trees and shrubs from Greenbrier Nursery in the past with great success.
Without a doubt they are the best nursery in the region. The variety and quality of plant selections are unmatched. They also have a market from spring to fall. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and everyone goes out of their way to give exceptional service. Bought three plants here six weeks ago, one is just making it, the other two have yet to show any life yet. At the price paid for them they should have been well on their way by now. I am still trying to help them along but I'm not expecting them to make it.
