Midwest Natives Nursery

Midwest Natives Nursery has a tremendous selection of natives for a very reasonable price. I have been very slowly adding natives to my yard over the last several years, but after being introduced to this awesome resource, I have been able to add so much more over just the last couple weeks! They are also very friendly and knowledgeable, so thank you from Plattsmouth! Midwest Natives are worth the drive! Thank you for the work you do to make more natives accessible. :)

Went for the first time and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow a beautiful yard and help the environment. Each plant is labeled and they are well sorted. Give this place a try! Note the limited hours.

I've been a patron of Midwest Natives Nursery for 2 years now. Their mission to promote the use of native plants is very important for our future, and I feel very grateful that I have the option to shop this local nursery so close to home. Below are a few of my plants I have purchased from there. These were taken 1 year from planting last summer. You never would have known that the previous season they started as little 1 inch plugs. These plants kept the birds fed over the winter and have been a frequented haven for thousands of pollinators this spring and summer. I highly recommend this shop- Nathan is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful!

Nathan Duffy has created an amazing little business that I could not give a bigger glowing review to. Based around native plants and natives only, he strives and succeeds expectations with knowledge, plants in stock, great prices and friendliness. I have recommended this business to everyone I know and will continue to do so for as long as they are open. Be a little more ecological, plant natives and turn your yard into a pollinator garden.
