We visited to see the wonderful birds in this remote, beautiful environment but found there are casitas available perfect for nature lovers, seekers of quiet, etc. Particularly recommended as a possible local base for birders exploring the area. What a lovely surprise.

I recently contacted the owner/manager to inquire about a particular Texas native plant that I was interested in. The lady was more than happy to prepare a shipment of the plants and mail them to me. This place is an utter GEM. not sure how I found it but stayed several nights and it far exceeded all of my expectations. It's a little ways out there and a long ways from home but was amazing in every way. Just what I needed to clear my head of the city posion.

I stayed here at their casitas. It was listed on Airbnb. It was more than I could imagine. Peaceful and serene far enough from city lights th0at you can enjoy the night sky. Day time was a large variety of birds and wildlife. The rooms are each uniquely decorated. You have everything you will ever need here, just get your groceries in town and your all set. Resident anna was so pleasant and helpful. Full of knowledge of the wildlife. If your ever in the area drop in for a while. Two thumbs up. 👍
