Excellent variety, found some plants here that I had been seeking and could find no where else, so great company and I am looking forward to the spring!
Jan shipped me seedlings from Wisconsin to the mountains of Colorado. They arrived in great shape and once in the ground, they took off! Thanks so much!!! I look forward to ordering more this spring.
Jan seems very dedicated to her wildflower farm. Not only does she grow wildflowers from seed she also sells the wildflower seeds in a very attractive professional looking packet that includes a detailed fact sheet on the plants and seeds. The root system on the wildflower plugs are so healthy looking, I have no doubt these plants will flourish and attract many pollinators.
I have yet to visit the farm but the local Co-op does carry seeds that come very nicely packaged and includes informative material, ensuring ample instructions for all the flowers’ needs.
I have gotten 32 beautiful native plants from Whittlesey Creek Wildflower Farm. Blooms will show this summer or next summer. I cannot wait to be apart of a pollinator community to help the local pollinators here in Northern Wi. Janis does a fabulous job raising native plants from seeds. She is also teaching her grandson how to grow native plants for the pollinators. If you have a garden, make sure you get in on these native plants. We need pollinators to live and grow food naturally!
