About
South Alabama Land Trust is a nationally accredited conservation organization dedicated to protecting coastal Alabama's natural heritage through land preservation and environmental education. With over 30 years of experience since its incorporation in 1990, the organization has successfully protected more than 11,000 acres across Baldwin and Mobile counties through conservation easements, land donations, and strategic acquisitions. The organization's Native Habitat Program focuses on restoring and preserving the ecological integrity of coastal ecosystems, supporting the marine life, wildlife, and native vegetation that define the Gulf Coast region. South Alabama Land Trust combines professional land conservation expertise with community engagement to ensure that current and future residents can enjoy clean water, healthy native habitats, and outdoor recreation opportunities in one of Alabama's most ecologically significant areas.
